She is the Curator of the Emily Reynolds Historic Costume Collection at NDSU, an archive of over 5000 clothing and textiles items that reflect the history of the region, the history of fashion and international dress. The collection houses textile and clothing artifacts from the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection at NDSU. She examined Germans from Russia families’ shawls that had been passed through the woman’s side of the family to help bring women’s history into focus.
